We took to the pumpkin patch this Sunday for a morning of fresh air & fall vibes. I took the opportunity to take the kids’ Fall portraits; one of my own favorite past times.

The more the merrier couldn’t have been more true than when I met the Milligan family. The sun was shining as we delved into their family session. Once I let them loose to explore and enjoy their surroundings, that’s when the fun times started. My favorite moment was when the boys went off to explore and I got mom and dad in a quiet moment to just enjoy the relative calm.

It is said that a wet knot becomes very difficult to untie and as I watched Katie & CJ get ready to tie their knot, I knew how special this day would be. As luck would have it, the rain made it’s mark and the sun started to peek through the clouds just as the bride took her first steps to her groom.

Vacaville Senior Portrait – Teyah
She was quiet and sweet but I sensed an energy and ambition in her just bubbling under the surface. When I finished Teyah’s Senior Portrait Session, I knew this young woman was going to do big things. From the look of pride in her mom’s face, I knew she knew that too.
I met Teyah in a hula dance group and became good friends with her mom. When she told me that she was going to college in Southern California, I knew that a beach session would be the perfect location for her senior portraits. It wasn’t the warm beaches of our Southern neighbors but it had the elements of home. It was fitting and a wonderful way to connect the things she loved so much to the future she was walking towards.
