What better way to celebrate the summer solstice than a night of dancing under the stars, laughing with good friends and mingling with new ones? I can count on my 2 hands the friends I can count on to dance with total abandon, to find true enjoyment in the moment & to help create memories that stick with you for years. This night turned out to be one for the books and one that gave me a much needed release. No drama, no worries – just joy all around.
This year we decided on a Rustic Chic theme for both the decor and dining experience. It was perfect for the canopy of trees and the warm summer night. My girlfriend sent over a photo of the wood platters she had found for the decor and I thought, “We need pies”. So pies we had! Cuban pies, Asian pies, chocolate pies! With some fresh touches from the garden, our table came together nicely for an evening of fun.
